Terms of use website de Wervingsspecialist
Version: 8 October 2026
At dewervingsspecialist.nl, you will find information about our services, vacancies, interim assignments and publications. You can contact us, arrange an initial conversation without obligation or recommend someone. These terms explain what you can expect from us and how you may use the website and its materials.
1. Who are we?
The website is operated by de Wervingsspecialist B.V.

We help organisations with recruitment, executive search, sourcing, headhunting, candidate selection, interim recruitment and recruitment consultancy or support.
2. What do these terms cover?
These terms describe the use of our website, forms, vacancy listings and available materials.
Simply visiting the website does not mean that you enter into an agreement with us. If a particular action requires you to accept terms, we will present those terms to you beforehand.
An enquiry, registration, application or download does not, in itself, create a paid engagement.
Business engagements are governed by the quotation, engagement confirmation and any general terms and conditions agreed as part of that engagement. The parties involved make separate arrangements for engaging an interim professional. These website terms do not replace those arrangements.
3. Registering and applying
You can apply for a vacancy or interim assignment, send a speculative application or arrange an initial conversation without obligation. Please tell us which role or assignment interests you, or what opportunities you would generally be open to considering.
We review your submission carefully and assess whether there may be a suitable match. Registering does not guarantee personal contact, an interview with a client, an introduction or a placement. We honour any specific commitments we make to you about communication or support.
You decide whether to take part in a recruitment process and whether to accept an offer. You can let us know if you no longer wish to participate or be contacted about opportunities.
We do not charge candidates a fee for finding them employment.
4. Sharing your profile and carrying out checks
Before introducing you in a way that identifies you, or sharing your CV with a client, we discuss the organisation, role or assignment concerned and the information we intend to share. We do so only with your prior agreement. A general registration does not give us unrestricted permission to share your information.
We do not contact your current employer without first discussing this with you and obtaining your agreement.
Reference checks, assessments, qualification checks and other background checks take place only where agreed in advance and permitted by law. We inform you about any checks we carry out.
Sending us your CV or other materials does not transfer ownership of them to us. We use them within the scope of the agreed services and in accordance with data protection law.
5. Providing accurate information and recommending someone
Please provide information that is accurate, current and relevant to the best of your knowledge. Let us know if, for example, your availability or contact details change during a recruitment process. If you notice an error, you can ask us to correct it.
Do not include your Dutch citizen service number (BSN), a copy of your identity document or medical information when you first register. If additional information is legally required at a later stage, we will discuss this separately.
If you would like to recommend someone, discuss it with them first. Share only the information needed for the introduction and which you are authorised to share with us. You can also introduce us by email with both parties included, or invite the professional to contact us directly.
We establish whether the professional wishes to be contacted by us directly. A recommendation does not authorise us to share their profile immediately with clients.
Any reward for a recommendation is governed by the information on the relevant page and any additional arrangements agreed. Receiving a reward does not entitle you to confidential information about the professional.
6. Vacancies and information on the website
We take care when preparing our vacancy listings and other information. Nevertheless, information may contain errors, be incomplete or become out of date. Vacancies and assignments may change, be withdrawn or already have been filled.
A vacancy listing is an invitation to express interest, rather than a binding offer of employment or an interim assignment. The final role, terms of employment or engagement, remuneration and start date are set out in the agreement between the parties concerned.
Articles, research findings and examples provide general information. They do not constitute advice tailored to your circumstances unless we have separately agreed otherwise. Research findings should be considered in the context of the stated target group, research period and methodology. Results from previous engagements do not guarantee results in another situation.
Please contact us if you notice an error or would like to check whether information is still current.
7. Responsible use of the website
You may visit the website, read its content, use the forms and download available publications.
You must not:
-
Deliberately disrupt or overload the website.
-
Attempt to access restricted systems or data without authorisation.
-
Send malicious software, spam or deliberately misleading information.
-
Impersonate another person or use someone else’s personal information without a valid reason.
If misuse occurs, we may take appropriate measures to protect the website and the people concerned, such as blocking abusive messages or restricting access.
You can report a technical problem or potential security vulnerability to michael@dewervingsspecialist.nl.
8. Text, publications and other materials
Text, reports, photographs, illustrations, logos and other materials may be protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. These rights belong to De Wervingsspecialist B.V. or the relevant creators or rights holders.
For materials we own:
-
You may share links to our pages, vacancies and publications.
-
You may download available publications for personal use and internal use within your organisation.
-
You may circulate our publications internally without alteration, provided you retain the source attribution and any notices identifying other rights holders.
-
You may quote short passages to the extent permitted by applicable copyright law. Credit de Wervingsspecialist, give the title and, where possible, include a link to the source.
Please obtain permission in advance if you wish to make complete publications publicly available, reproduce substantial sections, adapt materials or use them in a commercial product or service, unless the use is already permitted by law.
Different rules may apply to third-party materials or publications with their own terms of use.
9. Availability and responsibility
We aim to provide a website that works well and is accessible. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
Check important information before relying on it to make a decision. Contact us if you need clarification about a vacancy, assignment or publication.
The absence of a guarantee does not affect our responsibility to exercise reasonable care. Our liability for any loss or damage for which we are legally responsible is governed by the applicable law. These website terms do not impose a blanket exclusion of that liability or restrict your statutory data protection rights.
Liability arising from business engagements is governed by the separately agreed terms and the applicable law.
10. External websites
Our website may contain links to websites, publications or services provided by other organisations. We do not operate those external websites. A link does not necessarily mean that we endorse all their information or services.
Other terms and privacy notices may apply when you visit external websites.
11. Personal data and cookies
Our privacy notice explains which personal data we process, the purposes for which we use it, how long we retain it and your rights. It also provides information about cookies.
Registering, accepting terms and consenting to a specific use of personal data are separate actions. Registering does not provide blanket consent to marketing, unrestricted retention or sharing of your data, or cookies that require consent.
We make separate, clear arrangements for retaining your profile for future opportunities. If we ask for your consent, you may refuse it or withdraw it later. Doing so will not adversely affect an ongoing application.
We ask for separate consent to send newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time. If we use cookies that require consent, we obtain that consent before placing them.
12. Changes, governing law and contact
We may update these terms when our website, services or the applicable law changes. The current version appears on this page, with the version date shown at the top.
Publishing a new version does not automatically change existing agreements or consent you have previously given. Where a change to an agreement requires your acceptance, we will seek it separately.
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any statutory protection that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable protection for private individuals visiting the website and for candidates, remains in effect.
If a complaint or dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it together. If we cannot reach a resolution, the applicable law determines which court has jurisdiction.
Please send questions, complaints or comments to michael@dewervingsspecialist.nl, or call +31 6 24768758.
